You may decide that you want to track your food intake in the short term, just to get a handle on what you’re actually consuming. Eventually though, you will need to let go of control. Counting calories, points or whatever is not a sustainable long term strategy. Instead of counting calories and logging every meal, listen to what your body needs. Food should be a source of sustenance, energy and enjoyment – not stress!
